KYEEMA and the Rural Poultry Centre in Malawi are jointly running a fundraising photography competition to raise awareness of the importance of village poultry for rural communities in Africa. Empower rural women and their families through the extra income and food provided by the chickens and eggs. The winners will receive their pics on postcards to promote this good cause.

Get snap happy to celebrate the glorious CHICKEN and tell your friends!

The competition ends Friday the 30th June so get out and have fun in the garden.

Help us reach our fundraising target of A$10,000 for rural communities in Malawi and Mozambique. And we have a donor who, for every dollar you donate, has pledged a matching dollar up to a cap of $6,000.

Funds raised will be used to support vaccination of village chickens against Newcastle disease in Malawi.

WHAT EXACTLY WILL YOUR DOLLARS DO?

$10 gives a family access to the vaccine.

$50 supplies a chicken starter kit for a family.

$100 trains and equips a village community vaccinator.
