In partnership with University Eduardo Mondlane, Kyeema is working to increase the quantity and quality of chicken products in the market, which will result in better household nutrition and income for farmers in Mozambique and Uganda.
This project aims to develop a more productive native chicken with high body weight and egg production while also maintaining village chicken characteristics like broodiness.
This project will contribute to better livelihoods of chicken farmers who are mainly women and youth.
